How to Wear the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha Mala
- Auspicious Day & Time: Wear it early in the morning on a Monday or Friday, as the 7 Mukhi is closely associated with Lord Shiva and Goddess Mahalakshmi.
- Direction: Sit facing the East or North direction while performing the initial energizing rituals.
- Purification: Before wearing it for the first time, wash the mala gently in a mix of Ganga Jal and raw cow milk.
- Offering: Place it on your home altar, apply a Tilak (dot) of pure sandalwood paste (Chandan), and offer white flowers while lighting a ghee lamp.
- Stringing: The beads should be strung on a clean red, white, or yellow silk or cotton thread.
