Step-by-Step Wearing Guide1. Auspicious Day and Time
-
- Day: Thursday (Guruvar) is the dedicated day for the planet Jupiter (Guru), which rules the Pukhraj stone.
- Time: Wear it early in the morning between sunrise and noon (ideally between 6:15 AM and 7:15 AM).
2. Purification and Activation (Puja Vidhi)
Before wearing it for the first time, you must cleanse the negative energies from the stone.-
- Prepare a clean bowl containing a mixture of Gangajal, raw cow’s milk, honey, and a few tulsi (basil) leaves.
- Submerge your pendant in this mixture for about 15–30 minutes.
- Remove the pendant, rinse it thoroughly with clean water or fresh Gangajal, and place it on a clean yellow cloth.
- Light a ghee lamp and incense sticks, then offer yellow flowers and sweets.
- Energize the pendant by chanting the Guru Mantra (108 times): “ॐ ग्रां ग्रीं ग्रौं सः गुरवे नमः” or “Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah”.
3. Wearing the Pendant- Thread the Panchdhatu pendant onto a yellow gold chain, silver chain, or a clean yellow thread.
- Ensure the stone is left open at the back so it remains in direct contact with your skin.
- Wear it with a positive, spiritual mindset so that Jupiter’s positive energies of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune can flow into your body.
